July 8-13
Slip 33 on dock A, clean facility if not modern, with bathrooms, showers, laundry, locked gates, nice trails, electricity, water, and free bus to town (Emery-go-round). On Thursday we took the Emery-go-round to Home Depot for supplies to fix the toe rail that was damaged on the way down the coast when we did an accidental gybe in the middle of the night in the high winds. The preventer did not work as it was supposed to, and the boom came across the boat at death defying speed. The repair looks very good. Susan did some laundry and we both changed the two racor fuel filters and the one engine fuel filter.

On Saturday we went to Pier 39 (Emery-go-round/Bart/S.F. Muni). Total round trip for 2 people was $11. Lots of people everywhere, so we decided to walk over to Ghirardelli Square and have one of their world famous sundays, yummy. Dinner was back in Emeryville at the local Fudruckers (make yourself hamburger).

Sunday was a day of rest. We had thought of going to the Giants game but were to tired from the day before.
